Melissa Resnick, M.S.

Biography

Melissa began her higher education journey at a community college in Albany NY, before earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Athens State University and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Alabama A&M University.  Teaching in higher education for 15 years, she’s taught at Cuyahoga Community College, South University, and most recently Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science. Melissa excels in teaching technology for traditional, blended, and online modalities, including synchronous and Hy flex design.  She was awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award, in honor of Ralph M. Besse, at Cuyahoga Community College, recognizing her work in meeting the needs of all learners and creating an atmosphere of engagement for students of diverse backgrounds. Melissa enjoys presenting to colleagues about teaching pedagogy, technology, and most recently, artificial intelligence.
