Pledges should be made in writing or using an intent form available from the Foundation Office. We are a 501C-3 organization and your gift to our development fund is tax-deductible.

Marion Tech Giving and Naming Opportunities

Matching Gifts 

If your or your spouse’s employer has a matching gift program, you can double or even triple your gift amount. Check with your employer to see if a matching gift program exists.

Stocks & Bonds 

You can get a tax break by transferring stocks and bonds to the MTC Foundation.

Planned Gifts 

You can make a commitment today that will support the MTC Foundation after your lifetime. Designating a gift in your will or making the MTC Foundation a beneficiary of your life insurance policy helps ensure that we can continue to provide educational services and scholarships to our community well into the future.   Benefits include:

– Deferring or avoiding capital gains tax on appreciated securities

– Retaining income for yourself or for the lifetime of your named beneficiary

– Preserving your legacy

Endowed Scholarship Fund 

MTC’s tuition is among the lowest in Ohio, yet many students still cannot afford to attend. Endowed scholarships provide a stable, permanent source of funds to help deserving students.  Please click here for a list of our current named endowed scholarships.  You can contribute to one of these or our general endowed scholarship fund which is currently funding our Get to Next Scholarship.

Donors may establish a named endowed scholarship fund as a tribute to an individual, group, or in connection with a particular area of study at MTC. Creating an endowed scholarship fund allows you to make a financial commitment to MTC, our students, and the community, with an investment that will continue to give far into the future.

Memorial & Tribute Gifts 

With our Gift of Education program, you can give a gift in memory or honor of loved ones. We acknowledge all gifts by sending a card to your honoree. It’s a unique, personal gift that’s perfect for special occasions.
