The National ACT
Looking for the ACT?
Some limited enrollment programs at MTC recommend ACT scores as part of the admission process. Talk to your advisor to find out if this choice is right for you.
As of March 2026, MTC no longer offers the On-Campus ACT. Students who choose to take the ACT should take the National ACT. The National ACT is offered throughout the year, typically in September, October, December, February, April, June, and July. Registration deadlines are typically one month before the test date. Visit the ACT website for information on dates, registration, and policies.
MTC does not require nor recommend taking the optional Writing or Science sections. Taking either of these sections may negatively affect or delay your score as well as cost more money and time than necessary.
If you require accommodations, contact Disability Services well in advance for assistance. Only certain test sites and dates offer accommodations.
Additional Testing
