Marion Technical College invites the community to the Big Tent Event
- The event is going to be on Saturday, Sept 20 from 11 am – 2 pm.
- The Columbus Zoo will bring several animals for live demonstrations from noon to 1 p.m.
- 11th Annual Nursing 5K - 9 am.
- PTA Open House
- Corn hole tournament.
- Esports tournament.
- The Big Tent Event will also include live music and a variety of food trucks as well as drawing for a $500 tuition voucher, 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.
- Naturalist James Anderson with the Marion County Park District will help kids learn to fish on the campus pond.
- The Marion Public Library tent will have games and giveaways. Swoop, the library mascot, and Enzo, one of the Marion Tech mascots, will make appearances.
Hall of Fame Recognition Program
Please join us for the 10th Annual Alumni Hall of Fame on Thursday, November 20th. We will begin the evening with appetizers and desserts starting at 5:30 pm in the HTC with an open house of our academic programs. The awards will begin at 6:30 pm in the HTC Auditorium.
The Forge: FREE Business Classes and Competition
- Business classes and competition held in the Health Technology Center (HTC) auditorium August to October every year.
- Forge classes will be held on Tuesday nights from 5-7pm, in the HTC auditorium from August 26th to October 14th, 2025.
- The competition will be on Tuesday October 14th 2025 from 5-7pm.
