Elizabeth Azhikannickal, Ph.D.

Biography

Elizabeth is MTC’s Director of Engineering Technologies and the Principal Investigator on two National Science Foundation (NSF) grants awarded to the College. She has close to 8 years of experience working with the industry in the area of lightweight materials development and processing for automotive applications. She has held faculty and administrative roles in engineering programs at both the university and community college level since 2012. As a faculty member, she has taught mechanical engineering courses such as statics, strength of materials, fluid mechanics, and applied physics. Elizabeth has presented at various conferences, published in a variety of technical journals, and served as a reviewer.
