Public Invited to Marion Campus Job & Internship Fair
Members of the public are invited to attend the Annual Marion Campus Job and Internship Fair on Wednesday, April 10 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Alber Student Center on the Marion Campus. Hundreds of job seekers will connect with dozens of companies who are ready to hire.
Marion Technical College, The Ohio State University at Marion and OhioMeansJobs - Marion County and Tri-Rivers Career Center are partnering to hold this community event.

Students, take Steps for Success Now
- Send your resume to Career Services to polish: (careers@mtc.edu).
- Post your resume on Handshake.
- Find a free interview outfit in one of the Pop-Up Career Closets April 2 - April 3.
- Drop in on online April office hours - April 2 - April 4 to ask questions or practice interviewing.
- Get a LinkedIn professional headshot at the event.
- At the job fair, Marion Tech students can enter to win a $500 scholarship for next semester!
“The road to a new job or promotion starts at the job fair!” said Kristi Butler, director of Career Services for Marion Technical College. “Whatever students need to get ready, from interview clothes to resume polishing to interview help, we are here to help them get to that next goal.”
Free Help for Job Seekers
While meeting with employers can be intimidating, free help is available for community members.
OhioMeansJobs of Marion County will help any member of the public:
- Update a resume, post it online and make copies to take to the job fair.
- Prepare for an interview.
- Resources may be available for vouchers for professional clothing.
