Sandra Allen, M.S.N., R.N.
Biography
Professor Allen serves as MTC Nursing Faculty and as the Nurse Aide Training Coordinator. She provides laboratory and clinical instruction to MTC nursing students. She also works closely with the Ohio Department of Health to plan, implement, and oversee all Nurse Aide Training classes offered at MTC. Professor Allen has 32 years of nursing experience which was gained by working at MedCenter Hospital, Community Nursing Center, Delaware Court, and the Smith Clinic. She has served as a textbook reviewer for the 6th and 7th editions of Elsevier's Long-Term Care Nursing Assistant Textbook, and she has served on the Ohio Department of Health STNA Test Review Panel. She graduated with her Associate of Science in Nursing from MTC and then earned a Bachelor of Science in Education at The Ohio State University. Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing were both earned through Jacksonville University.
