2024 Golf Outing

“What a great day for a golf outing fundraiser and a substantial increase in the number of scholarships students will receive at our local community college. This is a BIG win for both students and Marion, Ohio!” Stuckey declared.

The Marion Tech Foundation doubles these funds by using them as matching grants to create new named scholarship funds. These funds will be used as $5,000 matches for eight new scholarship funds. These endowed funds support students in perpetuity.

The first two golf outing raised more than $53,000 and were used to create ten new scholarship funds with more than $100,000. There are currently 46 named scholarship funds.

“Many Marion Tech students are working parents, juggling work, family and college,” Stuckey said. “Despite our affordable tuition, every scholarship dollar helps these students get to graduation and start or advance their careers. More than 97% of alumni are working the year after graduation, and more than 90% of our students continue to live and work locally, so the entire community benefits.”

Marion Tech looks forward to holding the next Golf Outing on May 22, 2025.
