Marion Technical College Will Induct Five into Alumni Hall of Fame

After a flood of nominations, Marion Technical College selected five outstanding alumni to be inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. They include:

  • Trish Frazzini, Professor of Social Work and Addictions at Marion Tech, Class of 2022
  • Natalie Longmeier, Executive Director of Marion Matters, Class of 2022
  • Darlene Schoonard, Forensic Nursing Team Coordinator for OhioHealth (retired) Class of 1990
  • Clifford Smith, Probation Officer with Marion Municipal Court, Class of 1999
  • Lyndsey Vance, Realtor and Small Business Owner, Class of 2013

“These alumni are leaders in their fields and their communities,” said Dr. Ryan McCall, president of Marion Tech. “We are thrilled to recognize their accomplishments and the examples they set for our students.”

Family, friends, alumni, supporters and community members are invited to celebrate these outstanding alumni on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023 on the Marion Campus. The evening will start with networking and appetizers at 5 p.m. in Bryson Hall with the ribbon cutting of the new L1nk One Stop at 5:30 p.m.

The attendees will then move to the Health Technologies Center auditorium for the induction of the new class of the Alumni Hall of Fame at 6:30 p.m.

“This is a moving, inspirational night,” said Dr. Amy Adams, executive vice president of Planning, Advancement and Student Engagement at Marion Tech. “It is not to be missed!”

Each attendee was selected based on demonstrated excellence and growth in their field; service to the community; and the example set for students of what can be accomplished with a degree from Marion Tech.

Frazzini is a resident of Upper Sandusky who works in Marion. All of the other inductees both live and work in Marion.
