Five Alumni Selected for MTC Alumni Hall of Fame
After a flood of nominations, Marion Technical College selected five outstanding alumni to be inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m. They include:
Lisa Bush, Vice President and Wealth Advisor at Alluvial Private Wealth; Class of 2016
John Case, Director of Technology at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Class of 2004
Jill Chitwood, Owner of Sights Unseen Travel Agency, Class of 1982
Keith Stansbery, Senior Field Service Engineer at Beckman-Coulter, Class of 2006
Amber Wertman, CEO of the United Way of North Central Ohio, Class of 2002
“We are excited to celebrate these leaders and their success,” said Dr. Ryan McCall, president of Marion Tech. “These alumni are making positive impacts in their fields and communities. We hope our students will model their excellence.”
The public is invited to recognize these outstanding alumni on Thursday, Nov. 21, on the Marion Campus at 1467 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Marion.
Event Schedule
The evening will start with networking and appetizers at 5 p.m. during a Business After Hours in conjunction with the Marion Area and Wyandot County Chambers of Commerce.
“These leaders quietly make a difference and help those around them,” said Dr. Amy Adams, executive vice president of Planning, Advancement and Student Engagement at Marion Tech. “We are excited to recognize them or all they do to make our world better.”

Selection Criteria
Each inductee was selected based on demonstrated excellence and growth in their field; service to the community; and the example set for students of what can be accomplished with a degree from Marion Tech.
