Why Business?

Vicky WoodBusiness makes the world go around, and Marion Technical College can prepare you for a career in business!  Our instructors have real-world experience - they bring that knowledge into the classroom.

We offer associate degree programs, concentrations, and certificates in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Real Estate, Health Care Management, Human Resource Management, and Paralegal Studies – the skills businesses demand. If you are thinking about earning a bachelor’s degree, you can start at MTC and complete your degree by transferring MTC courses to a four-year college. We have specific partnerships with many colleges and universities. MVNU offers a BBA degree on MTC's campus; Franklin University offers MTC students junior status in various online programs. Our business TAG courses and transfer-module courses will transfer to any public college in Ohio.

Earning an associate degree in business management will make you a more effective employee. The courses in Information Technology, Math, Communications, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Project Management, Customer Relationship Management,Psychology, Public Relations, and Entrepreneurship Earnings Graphicwill teach you how to be a good manager and how to work effectively with co-workers and customers.

According to the Ohio Board of Regent’s Performance Report for Ohio Colleges and Universities, those who have an associate degree earn 44 percent more than high school graduates with no college coursework!
