OUR STUDENTS SAY… |
|
“The classes are very challenging and the instructors are tough, but they are also there to help you through. The quality of education is suberb!”
-- Tony Evans, Current Student |
|
“Small class sizes gave me the confidence that I needed to feel comfortable in the classroom. I asked more questions, learned more and in the end received a better education because of it. It’s an ideal place for an adult student!”
-- Steve Nemeth,
|
|
“I was scared to death to go back to college, but once I took that first step, I felt like I had lots of support from the instructors and fellow students.”
-- Linda Mills, Physical Therapist Assistant Program

OUR PROFESSORS SAY ABOUT OUR ADULT STUDENTS … |
I truly enjoy having adult learners in my classes. They bring real-world experiences to the discussion table which helps them relate very well to what we are teaching. Their experiences help other traditional students to see what it's like in the job market. Adult students make great students!!
-- Lea Anna Harah, Professor, Marion Technical College
|
"I enjoy working with adult students because they are self-directed, with specific goals in mind for their educational experiences. Adults generally bring experience to the classroom and serve as resources to one another. The adult learner also takes real satisfaction from their college experiences.
-- Barbara Stover, Professor, Marion Technical College |
"The adult students in my classes bring with them work and life experience! The adult learners will share their knowledge of the "real" world with the younger students and in turn the younger students share the ins-and-outs of college life with the non-traditional student. This blend of maturity and levels of experiences makes an interesting classroom setting where we are all learning from each other."
-- Pat Fox, Professor, Marion Technical College |
